WHO WE ARE

OUR MISSION.

KingdomCo Church exists to see Jesus exalted and to encounter his presence corporately and individually.

CORE VALUES.

  • THE PRESENCE OF GOD

Our first goal is to bring people into an encounter with the Presence of God. Without him, we have nothing—but with him we have everything.

  • THE CENTRALITY OF SCRIPTURE

We pursue worshiping God in Spirit and in Truth. Scripture is the first place we hear the voice of God and is what guides us as a community.

  • HEALTHY COMMUNITY

We seek to cultivate spaces for people to experience authentic community and grow deep, lasting relationships.

  • KINGDOM MISSION

We seek to empower each person to discover and walk out their God-given purpose for the glory of the Kingdom of God.

WHAT WE BELIEVE.

  • The Bible.

The Scriptures, both Old and New Testaments, are the inspired and infallible revelation of God to humanity and the final authority for faith and conduct. KingdomCo Church accepts the Bible as the revealed will of God, as the all-sufficient rule of faith and standard for daily living. (Romans 15:4; 2 Timothy 3:15-17; 1 Thessalonians 2:13; 2 Peter 1:21)

  • The Trinity.

We believe that there is one living and true God, eternally existing in three persons; that these are equal in every divine perfection, and that they execute distinct but harmonious offices in the work of creation, providence, and redemption. (Matthew 28:19; John 1:1-4; I John 5:7)

  • God the Father.

We believe in God, the Father, an infinite personal Being, perfect in goodness, justice, holiness, wisdom, power, and love. We believe that He concerns Himself mercifully in the affairs of men, that He hears and answers prayer, that He saves from sin and death all who come to Him through Jesus Christ. (John 3:16-17; John 4:24; John 17:5)

  • Jesus Christ.

We believe in Jesus Christ as God, the only begotten Son of the Father, conceived by the Holy Spirit. We believe in His virgin birth, his existence as fully man and fully God. We believe in His sinless life, miracles, and teachings. We believe in His substitutionary atoning death, bodily resurrection, ascension into heaven, perpetual intercession for His people, and personal visible return to earth. (Isaiah 7:14; John 1:14; Philippians 2:5-11; I Thessalonians 4:16-17; Hebrews 1:2-3, I John 1:7)

  • The Holy Spirit.

We believe in the Holy Spirit who came forth from the Father and Son to convict the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment, and to regenerate, sanctify, and empower all who believe in Jesus Christ. We believe that the Holy Spirit indwells every believer in Christ and that He is abiding Helper, Teacher, and Guide. (John 14:26; John 16:7-15; Romans 8:14-17; Ephesians 1:13-14)

  • Baptism of the Holy Spirit.

Is the promise of the Father that was made available to all believers at Pentecost. It was sent by Jesus after His Ascension to endow the Church with power for the effective proclamation and miraculous demonstration of the gospel. (Luke 3:16: Luke 24:49; Acts 1:8)

  • Regeneration.

We believe that all people are sinners by nature and choice and are therefore under judgment. We believe that those who repent of their sins and trust Jesus Christ as Savior are transformed by the Holy Spirit and made righteous in the sight of God. (John 1:12-13; John 3:16-18; Acts 20:21; Ephesians 2:8-9; Titus 3:5)

  • Divine Healing.

Divine healing is provided through Jesus Christ’s atoning work on the cross with the forgiveness of sins. (Isaiah 53:4-5; Matthew 8:16-17; James 5:14-16)

  • 5 Fold Ministry.

Divinely called and scripturally ordained ministers have been provided by God to equip the saints for the work of the Gospel by leading the church in evangelization, worship, and building his mission throughout the world and in the local church. (Mark 16:15-20; John 4:23-24; Ephesians 4:11-16)

  • The Church.

We believe in the universal church, a living spiritual body of which Christ is the head and all regenerated persons are members. We believe in the local church consisting of a company of believers in Jesus Christ, baptized on a credible profession of faith, and associated for worship, work, and fellowship. We believe that God has laid upon the members of the local church the primary task of proclaiming the gospel of Jesus Christ and demonstrating his compassionate, just, and miraculous acts to a lost and broken world. (Matthew 16:16-18; Mark 16:15-20; Acts 2:38-41; Ephesians 2:19-22; Ephesians 5:25-27)

  • The Ordinances.

We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ has committed two ordinances to the local church: baptism and the Lord’s Supper. We believe that Christian baptism is the immersion of the believer in water into the name of the Triune God. We believe that the Lord’s Supper was instituted by Christ for commemoration of His death. We believe that these two ordinances should be observed and administered until the return of the Lord Jesus Christ. (Matthew 28:18-20; Acts 2:41-42; Romans 6:3-5; I Corinthians 11:23-32)

  • The Now (& Not Yet) Kingdom.

While Jesus’s future return will bring the fullness of his kingdom, Jesus taught and demonstrated the reality of the Kingdom that was already present (or “at hand”). Jesus demonstrated this present reality by coming against the darkness and brokenness in this present world—a mission he then extended to his followers. The church, by continuing in Jesus’ example, must come against the same enemies that Jesus came against—including sin, demonic torment, philosophical and/or religious lies, and sickness. (Matthew 10:7-8; Matthew 12:28; Mark 1:15; Luke 9:1-6; Luke 10:1-9; John 14:12-14; Mark 16:15-20; book of Acts)

  • The Return of Christ.

We believe in the personal and visible return of the Lord Jesus Christ to earth and the final and complete consummation of his kingdom with the establishment of the new heavens and new earth. We believe in the resurrection of the body, the final judgment, the eternal joy of the righteous, and the endless suffering of the wicked. (Matthew 25:31-46; John 5:18, 29; 2 Corinthians 5:10; Revelation 20-22)
